On November 17, ACC Advocacy, along with Cozen O’Connor, held a CLO roundtable in New York City with four state attorneys general (AGs). In attendance were Attorney General George Jepsen, Connecticut (President of National Association of Attorneys General); Attorney General Leslie Rutledge, Arkansas; Attorney General Mark Herring, Virginia; and Attorney General Scott Pruitt, Oklahoma. Following a panel discussion, ACC members directly asked the AGs about their enforcement procedures and priorities in relation to the business community. Members in attendance represented a diverse array of industries and company sizes, from energy and manufacturing to retail and entertainment.
ACC is looking into offering future events with State AGs; if you are interested in hosting a Meet the Regulators event at an ACC Chapter, please contact Stephanie Johnson, ACC’s Manager of Advocacy and Public Policy, at s.johnson@acc.com.
