ACC Employment & Labor Law Committee, WMACCA meet with U.S. Department of Labor Agencies

On March 11, a group of 21 ACC members representing the Employment & Labor Law Committee and the Washington D.C. area ACC chapter (WMACCA) met with the leadership of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and the Wage & Hour Administration in Washington, D.C.  In both meetings, an informal two-way discussion covered a broad range of enforcement and regulatory issues, including OFCCP’s new requirements for the employment of veterans and individuals with disabilities, and the increased minimum wage requirements for federal contractors.   Members posed questions, sought clarification of agency interpretations, and offered observations on current compliance challenges.
